Acre is pleased to be working with a well-regarded principal contractor to identify a Health and Safety Manager. This person will join the civil engineering arm of the business working alongside Senior leadership in the team before moving on to projects across the rail, highways and energy sector.

Key responsibilities include:
Establishing effective relationships with key stakeholders across the projects including operational teams, client representatives, sub-contractors and supply chain, and relevant external authorities
Leading the development and implementation of Health & Safety initiatives across a number of projects valued up to £300m
Advising, guiding and coaching all personnel with the implementation of the business Health & Safety Management system
Carrying out audit programmes, accident and incident investigations and reporting H&S data
The ideal candidate will come have significant experience in the construction and civil engineering space. They will have a proven ability to lead of large and complex projects and crucially the flexibility to move to projects as required.
