This is a key position for one of the world's leading investment management groups. The successful candidate will be accountable for leading the development and delivery of their responsibility policy and advocacy programme.   Key Responsibilities  
  • Develop policy and advocacy agenda as it relates to responsible investment and stewardship matters. As well as ensuring it is in line with the firm's mission to improve retirement and help create a better society
  • Ensure that responsible investment policy is understood across the firm and embedded in the firm's activities.
  • Manage the firm's internal Policy Working Group and develop and communicate policy positions on relevant, important and topical environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters.
  • Interact with key public policy and regulatory stakeholders to inform and influence policy formulation on relevant matters.
  • Support the RFP team and wider marketing and communications team to ensure that the firm's responsibility strategy and activities are appropriately communicated externally.
  • Take ownership of key responsible investment communications including the firm's Stewardship Code statement and annual PRI reporting.
  The position will also have a considerable internal and external profile, being responsible for representing the business at conferences and events as well as leading internal and external initiatives (e.g. as chair or member of a cross-industry committee). We are looking for an experienced corporate governance professional with strong knowledge on ESG issues and how they can be managed within an investment management context.
