Acre is pleased to be working with a leading apparel retailer to find an Ethical Trade and CR Specialist initially on a 3 month fixed term basis, with the high likelihood for extension. This hire will provide essential support in delivering the CSR strategy across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessing risks and opportunities across supplier factories and working with suppliers to manage these on an ongoing basis
  • Delivering on the organisation's Modern Slavery commitments
  • Support on relevant research projects as part of the organisation's membership to different multi-stakeholder initiatives including ETI, Accord, WWF and BSCI
  • Assisting with all internal and external reporting exercises

The successful candidate, reporting into the CSR Manager, will have a strong interest in Ethical Trade, Environment and Animal Welfare issues, with the proven ability to operate at all levels.

Skills required:

  • Experience working within an international supply chain
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of ethical trade and its application in global retail supply chains
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, research and investigation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in demanding time pressured environments
