Acre is pleased to partner with one of the world's premier commercial real estate brokerage and investment firms to identify an Energy Consultant who will join their expanding Sustainability Consultancy group. Working alongside FTSE 100 companies, the successful candidate will drive the sustainability agenda through their application of data, technology, and engineering skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering energy reduction programmes, energy audits and EPC advice, primarily at office and retail assets to some of the largest landlords and corporate occupiers in the UK and Europe
  • Engaging with clients at all levels on technical/performance challenges and translating complex concepts into understandable language
  • Translating data analysis and into commercially viable strategies which increase performance and reduce business risk
  • Coordinating resources, including analysts, to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard

The successful candidate will have experience in the development and implementation of energy initiatives for blue chip corporate or investor clients.

You will also have:

  • Practical experience of building operations and identifying energy reduction opportunities
  • A sound technical understanding of building services; construction technology and renewable energy technologies
  • Proven experience of conducting building energy audits
  • Proficient in analysing half hourly data, and big data sets
  • Competent in performing appraisal of energy management projects (e.g. kWh savings, cost savings, ROI, NPV etc…)
  • Understanding of EPCs, DECs, BREEAM and low energy design principles
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, ideally in written, visual and numeric work
