Sonja Graham, Managing Partner, Global Action Plan

Sonja is the Managing Partner of Global Action Plan UK (GAP UK), a multi award-winning environmental charity that delivers behaviour change and educational programmes in workplaces, communities and schools. She is also Chair of the Board of GAP International, an environmental members network across 26 countries – of which GAP UK is a member.

Sonja has an academic background in Psychology and is a Behaviour Change specialist and has designed innovative environmental programmes for the private, public and third sector: recently including a supermarket energy education programme for Sainsbury’s Supermarkets and a youth water action programme saving millions of litres of water across 11 countries for HSBC.

In previous roles, Sonja set up a behaviour change department for a carbon consultancy, and delivered global HSE training programmes and energy efficiency projects for Shell.

Ramon Arratia, Sustainability Director, Ball Corporation

Ramon Arratia is a sustainability director with 17 years of practical experience in corporate sustainability positions at multinational companies such as Interface, Vodafone, Ericsson and now at Ball Corporation. Ramon is a strong advocate of product sustainability and the circular economy. His focus is on creating ambitious sustainability strategies that deliver core business advantages through reducing carbon footprint, designing out chemicals, accelerating innovations, creating better marketing, redesigning supply chains, and building higher ground cultures.

During Ramon's eight years at Interface Europe, the company managed to reduce its GHG emissions by 95 per cent, water use by 78 per cent and its embodied carbon footprint in the supply chain by 39 per cent. His role at Ball concentrates on pushing forward the environmental ambitions of the company, helping the industry to make beverage cans the most sustainable packaging, and influencing policy makers to adopt a more circular economy.
