Acre is pleased to be working with the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) to help appoint a Senior Manager to lead the PRI's Asset Owner Insight work stream.
The PRI has a well-established global programme to promote and support responsible investment (RI) in this dynamic practice area. Asset Owner focus at PRI includes incorporating ESG factors into investment strategy, other portfolio level considerations, manager selection and monitoring practices and promotion of uptake of these types of activity.
The role will create and execute strategy for the work stream, working closely with signatory advisory committees, working groups and colleagues at PRI. The role sits within PRI's Investment Practices (IP) team and reports to the Associate Director, Investment Practices.
-Delivering high quality resources to asset owners for incorporating ESG considerations in investments
-Including: developing guidance, organising workshops & events, managing stakeholder expectations, planning & managing projects- all on budget and on time -Running advisory committees and / or working groups comprised of PRI signatories - establishing new working groups where needed -Keeping up to date with market trends and implementation needs of signatories -Supporting signatories in completing PRI Reporting and Assessment with good knowledge of asset specific modules -Participating and speaking in PRI and external events to disseminate PRI's work -You will have a solid understanding of RI practice from AO perspective, with a working knowledge of industry players (investors, service providers, associations, etc.) and the ability to analyse and anticipate future trends.
In addition you will have:
-Understanding of fundamental financial considerations in investment management
-Understanding of asset owner practices, priorities and portfolio level considerations for incorporating ESG assets -Confidence in leading and positioning PRI's work for the responsibility area -Ability to forge long-term relationships with industry leaders and decision makers -Experience of speaking authoritatively to investors, speaking on panels, moderating sessions and running workshops.
The PRI is the world's largest investor network with over 1,600 signatories representing over $60 trillion in assets under management.This role will take you to the forefront of responsible investment best practices.You will have the responsibility and independence to develop and execute the AO Insight work stream which in turn will give you the ability to change the mind-set of investors on sustainability issues.
